The vampires surrounding him nodded in agreement. ”We can not live in fear anymore. We need to be able to hunt” James agreed, causing the werewolves to growl heartily in agreement. ”It’s all well and good talking big, but does anyone actually have a solution?” a silky sweet feminine voice silenced the room, she rose to her feet. ”I have been alive for 200 hundred years and never, never have I seen such brutal deaths of my people. I believed the only thing that could kill us was the sun, but this… This is something else. We are no longer the hunters, we are the hunted.” she flowed off into silence, letting her eyes meet that of the werewolf leader. ”Anne is right. Unfortunately.” Daniel said softly. ”I propose we join forces, vampire and werewolf. Live together, hunt together. It may be the only way to survive.” The hall was swallowed in murmurs of disapproval, some of agreement. Anne and Daniel looked at each other across the hall, they both knew the chances of survival were slim. ”Silence” her shrill voice rang out over the hall. ”I accept your proposal, although if you don’t mind I would prefer we stayed at my manor, rather then in these halls”

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF THE ASSASSINS AND ROGUES.
Very few outsiders know what happens in that world. Rumor has it that it doesn't exist, but their horribly wrong. It's a dark, evil world whose inhabitants live in either constant fear or warfare. Fools abuse the names of supposedly fictious characters from this world. The planet, Moondande, is in such a state of chaos that makes even the bravest of heroes cower in fear. It's up to only those who can take it all; the time has come for the greatest of warriors to beat back down the overpowerful and diminish their work. Can it be done? Can the world of Moondane be saved?

The Rebellions:
Helios and Ymir are both undergoing massive peasant revolts against their tyrannical ddictators, Icicle of Ymir and Cratore of Helios. The armies of the country are so far successfully, and quite literally, beating back down the rebellious ones, sometimes to death.
Kikimora Vs. Shedu:
As has been the case for centuries, there are always at least three wars ongoing between countries for land. The one in this sector of the world is between Kikimora and Shedu.

Blood Feuds between Races:
Vampires vs. Liguna: Liguna are vampire demons. Vampires are, well, vampires. However, most of the two races hate each other, and will only be satisfied when the other race is dead. To be called vampire is the greatest insult for a Liguna; to be associated with Liguna is the greatest insult for a vampire. Both groups consider the other a mockery of themselves, and have been fighting since they knew of each others' existances.
Liguna vs. Angels: This one is quite typical. Angels are those who are supposedly holy and light, while Liguna are evil and dark. It is a natural way of things for the two to fight. Right now they have a peace treaty.
Lycans(werewolves) vs. Vampires: Nobody knows how this one got started, but it's a typical fight. Go figure.

Time frame:
The world is somewhat more medieval; however, aside from computer technology, they do still have things like toasters, washers, dryers, stoves, et cetra. The only people with computer technology are the leaders of the Assassins and the Rogues, and their Research and Development divisions.
Guns are not invented yet, and have no plans to be so. This is because they are almost pure powergaming for tools. That, and there's just no creativity to them when you sit them up next to all the magic and weapons out there.

The year is 2020, long since scientists first warned the human race about Global Warming. Did they do anything about it? No. Many claimed it as false information and that it was just a way to spend more money. Now...the world has paid. The Human Race has been wiped off the face of the planet. Not one still lives to this day. Or do they? But that isn't what matters. The world is flood, covered in water. Many cities have been wiped out, fish have taken over, and a species once thought to never existed has proved that they do indeed exist. It's the Mer kind. Mermaids.
