”I have lost 4 of my best men just this week we have to put a stop to this!” Kieran’s hand slammed down on the table. The vampires surrounding him nodded in agreement.
”We can not live in fear anymore. We need to be able to hunt” James agreed, causing the werewolves to growl heartily in agreement.
”It’s all well and good talking big, but does anyone actually have a solution?” a silky sweet feminine voice silenced the room, she rose to her feet.
”I have been alive for 200 hundred years and never, never have I seen such brutal deaths of my people. I believed the only thing that could kill us was the sun, but this… This is something else. We are no longer the hunters, we are the hunted.” she flowed off into silence, letting her eyes meet that of the werewolf leader.
”Anne is right. Unfortunately.” Daniel said softly. ”I propose we join forces, vampire and werewolf. Live together, hunt together. It may be the only way to survive.”
The hall was swallowed in murmurs of disapproval, some of agreement. Anne and Daniel looked at each other across the hall, they both knew the chances of survival were slim.
”Silence” her shrill voice rang out over the hall. ”I accept your proposal, although if you don’t mind I would prefer we stayed at my manor, rather then in these halls”
